Our quilt shows are held every 3 years.

A lot of work in organizing a quilt show as well as making our usual spectacular quilts takes time.

Near North Quilter's Guild

meets September to June
every 3rd Tuesday of the month
meeting place: Emmanuel United Church at 395 Lakeshore Dr., North Bay, Ontario
doors open at 9:30 a.m., meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
$30.00 for 10 months

Northern Lights Quilter's Guild
meets January to December
every 1st Monday of the month with the exception of a holiday Monday, then the meeting will be the following Monday of the month
meeting place: Calvin Presbyterian Church at 401 1st Ave W, North Bay, Ontario
doors open at 6:30 p.m.; meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
$30.00 for 12 months

Almaguin Quilting Guild
meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at South River Friendly Circle, 10 Isabella Street, South River. Cost is $30.00 for the year.

Stitches in Tyme Embroidery Guild
In 2003, several ladies who belonged to North Bay Quilting Guilds decided to form Stitches in Tyme to learn more about embroidery.
Members of the guild have learned many skills such as cross-stitch, ribbon embroidery, Blackwork, Hardanger, Sashiko, wool work embroidery on greeting cards and beadwork
Members exchange valuable information related to their interests. While group projects are on the go, members are encouraged and free to do their own thing.
New time:
Stitches in Tyme meet on the second Thursday of the month from September to June at Omond Memorial Church, 319 McKenzie St., North Bay,ON
The time is from 10:00am to 1:00pm
Membership fee: $20.00

NEW .... 2019 Quilt Show .... September 28-29, 2019

It's coming .... it's coming ....

Our next quilt show will be September 28-29, 2019 at Odyssey Secondary School, North Bay, Ontario.

We will be posting more about this as we get closer to the date.

Our quilters have been quilting up a storm to get ready for this show.

So .... keep this date in mind!

It is getting to be that time when there is talk of a new quilt show ..... 2019 .... stay tuned for more information.

Meetings are happening ..... month to be confirmed ..... location to be confirmed.  Lots of planning involved.

  • Guest Exhibitor (Barb Moulder will be displaying her Toy Sewing Machines)
  • Silent Auction (Local quilters have donated quilted items* to be used to raise funds for Mammography and CAMU at the North Bay Regional Health Centre)
          *Challenge fabrics used in these quilted items were donated by Northcott Fabrics
